Based in Shaftesbury, Dorset,  Tekmar was founded in 1990 to act as UK Sales & Service representative for mainland Europe manufacturers of electronic production manufacturing equipment. Tekmar personnel, having over 20 years experience in the European market place and being a multilingual organisation naturally progressed to introducing a range of US manufacturers equipment into this market area. Tekmar Electronics has also conceived and manufactured special purpose handling and test systems.

Having  an extensive knowledge of electronics manufacturing, TMS has been involved in advertising design and sales plus exhibition management for trade publishers such as Reed Elsevier. We are also internet researchers for Reed Electronics Research. 

Working with several Finnish companies TWA, as UK representative, introduced mobile polling and mobile content, games and quizzes, etc, arranging the hosting and web site management.
